JUNE 18, 2026 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC
AJ FERNANDEZ AMAR TORO (6 x 56)
WRAPPER: NICARAGUAN HABANO
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA

Spice, earth, light cream, and ginger ale introduce Amar. Nice and interesting.
Smooth draw followed by a generous smoke output. Ginger ale and very light cream flow out the ol' sniffer on the retrohale. Creamy texture on the finish, which provides a soft bed for light spice, clean earth, and bread.

Burn struggles a bit through the first half, requiring a touch-up and smoke rolling™.
Light coffee enters; cream builds.
For a lazy day on the porch, this cigar provides a bit of added relaxation…Until the wrapper splits and begins separating from the rest of the cigar, requiring several burn touch-ups to keep things rolling. Bummer.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 58 mins.
RATING: 2.5 / 4 - Started out so well.
