AJ FERNANDEZ ENCLAVE BROADLEAF CHURCHILL (7 x 52)
WRAPPER: USA CONNECTICUT BROADLEAF
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA

Spice hits fairly aggressively out of the gate. Expected. Sweetened coffee finds a spot. Clean earth provides a thin blanket. Let’s call it a bed sheet.
Dark chocolate and light coffee breeze through the retrohale with a suggestion of spice near the end. Bits of dark earth and a subtle spice on the finish.
Excellent draw with an equally excellent smoke output.

Ash is a bit flaky but holds on well. The burn line isn’t bummin’ lighter fluid, so no complaints there.
Spice steps out and then returns in the final third with a much smoother approach. Dark chocolate continues throughout along with a lighter complementary coffee.
Enclave Broadleaf never quite hit sweet city, but it was an enjoyable, smooth journey. I dig it.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 13 mins.
RATING: 3 / 4 - An enjoyable, smooth journey.
