MARCH 8, 2026 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC

CAO FLATHEAD SPEED SHOP HABANO V654 CRANKSHAFT (6 1/2 x 54)

WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN HABANO

BINDER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS

FILLER: NICARAGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Speed shop’s smooth draw revs up with spice and a mix of butterscotch chips and toffee. There’s a creaminess lingering in there. Spice and slightly sweetened cream coat the palate on the finish. Butterscotch chips and some fresh bread flow through the retrohale. Tasty start.

Dense and voluminous smoke output. “Dense and voluminous” is probably used in every shampoo commercial.

Smooth leather, sweetened oak, and touches of cinnamon flow from the foot. A nice relaxing aroma.

Spice completely dissipates prior to the half, as expected. Creaminess continues to slowly build throughout, blending well with the arrival of coffee and slight leather on the finish. Nice.

A few burn touch-ups keep things moving smoothly.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 15 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - Dense and voluminous.
