COHIBA SERIE M RESERVA PLATA TORO (6 x 52)
WRAPPER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Burnt, sour cedar kicks off the first draw but quickly gives way to oak, milk chocolate, and bits of spice. That initial draw had me worried this was going to be like that new in-law you meet that everyone tries to assure you, “He really isn’t that bad,” as he proceeds to fart 10 times during dinner.
Lingering leather, milk chocolate, and subtle spice on the finish.
Nice draw and smoke output. Maybe he really isn’t that bad.

Plata burns quite nicely. Solid ash rolls off easily with just a bit of pressure.
Oak, leather, and maple syrup flow from the foot.
Leather begins to build a core with a dark chocolate border. Dark coffee drips in the last third. I dig it.
Plata was a slow burner. No complaints.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 20 mins.
RATING: 3.5 / 4 - Didn’t even fart during dinner.
