COHIBA SPECTRE 2025 TORO (6 x 52)
WRAPPER: USA HAVANA CONNECTICUT 2017
BINDER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS
FILLER: CRIOLLO 98, MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS, VUELTA ABAJO

Spectre starts out with a bit of a plug situation. I employ my trusty corn nubber to resolve the issue. It’s not even a designer nor an expensive corn nubber, but it came to the rescue. That, and I had to lightly roll the plug that was about an inch from the cap.
A lot of spice pours through. A lot. I detect some earth, light coffee, and some sweet oak, but spice overpowers them all.

The ash isn’t quite as pretty in that picture as it should be, but that’s my fault. I bumped it with my friggin’ hand while I was multitasking out here.
I’ve been a bit obssessed this week watching various live performances of “Stars” by Hum. One of the best, most rocking songs of the ‘90s. I believe that’s a factual statement.
Aside from my clumsiness, the ash holds quite well, and the burn does its thing until after the half when it required a few touch-ups. Loads of smoke.
Once the spice settled down, Spectre became somewhat tame overall. Didn’t really knock my socks off, but it was okay.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 3 mins.
RATING: 2.75 / 4 - I believe that’s a factual statement.
