DIESEL WHISKEY ROW FOUNDER’S COLLECTION RACEKING TORO (6 x 52)
WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN HABANO
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA

A pleasant almond and cashew combination lead the charge through Raceking’s easy draw. They’re joined by earth and a touch of sugary sweetness and spice. Spice and cashew butter hang well together on the finish. Cashew tends to take top spot on the retrohale, allowing earth to fill in a very small gap. I dig cashews. No complaints there.
Off the foot, there’s a very nice nuttiness, which, again, plays the primary role. It’s complemented nicely by mild coffee and sweet cream. Even outside with a slight breeze, I can detect that goodness.

Solid burn line. The ash holds together well but tends to break off rather easily, even while resting on my ashtray. Not really an issue for me, but those who contort themselves to make the ash as long as the cigar might find themselves struggling with their pride on this one.
Raceking remains smooth throughout while leather makes a few appearances, and everything began to taper off as I moved past the half.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 31 mins.
RATING: 3 / 4 - Don’t contort yourself.
