SEPTEMBER 14, 2025 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC

MY FATHER BLUE TORO (6 x 54)

WRAPPER: CONNECTICUT BROADLEAF ROSADO

BINDER: HONDURAS

FILLER: HONDURAS

Cream, lightly salted butter, earth, and mixed nuts mingle with a border of subtle spice. Excellent draw and smoke output.

Coffee and earth lightly coat the palate on the finish. Somewhat of a dusty earth on the retrohale.

Flaky ash with a solid burn.

Blue remains consistent from start to finish. A couple of burn touch-ups were required to keep the burn moving along, but I’m not sweating that.

I can’t say that Blue is my favorite My Father, but it’s pretty dang good.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 40 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - Pretty dang good.
