OUTCAST CIGARS ROBUSTO (5 x 50)
WRAPPER: BRAZILIAN CUBRA
BINDER: ECUADORIAN SUMATRA
FILLER: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Outcast’s sweetened cap blends well with earth and spice from the initial pull, providing a nice, not overbearing, sweetness to both. Oak hangs on the edges. Everything comes together to create a chips and salsa vibe on the finish. Interesting. Reminds me of this Mexican restaurant I went to in Texas about a month ago. That food was delicious, including the chips and salsa.
Touches of graphite and earth through the retrohale.
Sometimes sweetened caps can be a bit much, but Outcast seems to have struck a nice balance so far.
Solid draw with a nice and heavy smoke output. No complaints.

Coffee and leather find their way. Both are provided some sweetness from the cap, which possesses notes of mocha and sugar. The aroma from the foot provides much of the same though a bit more rustic and with some dried dark fruit. I dig it.
Tasty cigar.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 33 mins.
RATING: 3.25 / 4 - Just right.
