OZ FAMILY KARATOBA TORO (6 1/2 x 50)
WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN SUMATRA
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Karatoba. Now that’s a cigar name that doesn’t mess around. Smooth draw, shed-filling smoke output, and a nice start of sweet dark earth, subtle spice, and a molasses/caramel combination. Tasty.
Clean and dark retrohale. Earth. Sweet finish, which matches the draw.

The burn takes care of business, allowing me to enjoy Karatoba without working. I always appreciate that.
Bits of graphite mingle with mild coffee near the end; sweetness continues through the core.
Quite an enjoyable smoke.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 52 mins.
RATING: 3.5 / 4 - Doesn’t mess around.
