POWSTANIE JUSTICE | CIGAR REVIEW

MARCH 17, 2024 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC

POWSTANIE JUSTICE (5 1/2 x 46)

WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN CONNECTICUT

BINDER: PENNSYLVANIA BROADLEAF

FILLER: NICARAGUA

Justice leads with a dash of creamy milk chocolate and quickly follows up with dry soil and graphite. That soil joins with spice on the finish, with spice taking a prominent lead. Toasted cream flows through the nose rather smoothly.

Draw and smoke output match each other in excellence. While making that note, buttered popcorn jumps into the mix. I’ll take it.

Justice burns straight and holds a solid ash.

A crack forms in the wrapper just above the band. We’ll see if we can just burn through that. Stay tuned.

Graphite becomes a bigger player, but everything else begins to fade quickly halfway through. Cream works to slip by from time to time, overwhelmed by graphite, which later allows coffee grounds to share a bit of the spotlight.

Justice burned right through the crack. Tragedy avoided.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 15 mins.

RATING: 2.5 / 4 - Tragedy avoided.
