Lanceros often get a bad rap for having a tight draw, but this Golden Era is wide open with a smoke output to match. A sweet earthiness and light spice pull through in equal measure. Sweetness leans towards sugarcane. The retrohale holds the same with a bit of mild coffee thrown in the mix. Ditto on the finish.
Golden Era seems like it would pair well with some cream soda.
The burn and ash are about as solid as you could want, and they help make the Golden Era a nice, relaxing cigar.Â
I might have to grab a bottle of cream soda with my next one.
