ROOM101 JOHNNY TOBACCONAUT MADURO TORO (6 x 52)

WRAPPER: NICARAGUAN MADURO

BINDER: NICARAGUA

FILLER: NICARAGUA

Johnny Maduro’s open draw flows to the brim with milk chocolate, earth, and light coffee. Shed-filling smoke output.

Milk chocolate and light coffee tiptoe on the finish. The same flows from the ol’ nostrils, with the addition of cedar.

Burn line runs well so far, and the ash is solid enough. I dig the bands.

“What’s a tobacconaut?” you might ask. Good question. Might find an alien.

Things begin to darken up a bit. Dark roast coffee and dark chocolate take the wheel. It’s like listening to The Cure’s “Inbetween Days” and then “Burn”. Both rock, but in different ways. Been on a Cure kick recently.

Charred steak and leather sneak in and out near the end, and a couple of touch-ups keep the burn running straight.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 44 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - Looking for aliens.
