ROOM101 NAMAKUBI CHINGON 2025 (5 1/2 x 60)
WRAPPER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS MADURO
BINDER: ECUADORIAN SUMATRA
FILLER: PENNSYLVANIA BROADLEAF, NICARAGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Chingon comes out swingin’ with spice heavy hits. Dark chocolate and bright dried fruit find some small gaps to fill while earth floats on top.
The wrapper splits a few draws in. Crap. It’s worth noting that both the blue and white tissue wrapper were fastened quite tightly around this particular Chingon.
Spice lingers more subtly on the finish with earth and watered down coffee.

Ash and burn line are doing well despite the split, and maple syrup begins to weave in and out and even finds its way to the finish where it lingers like a soft blanket. Speaking of soft blankets, are there hard blankets? And, if so, what insane people use them?
Just as Chingon burns through the first split, a second, much nastier split forms. God bless it.
Some strategic flame placement gets Chingon past the second split. A few minutes later, a third split develops. God bless it.
Chingon requires a few touch-ups to get it across the finish line, and it fades at the end.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 46 mins.
RATING: 2.75 / 4 - God bless it.
