ESPINOSA KNUCKLE SANDWICH HABANO TORO H (6 x 54)
WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN HABANO
BINDER: NICARAGUA
FILLER: NICARAGUA

Super smooth draw, hosting mixed nuts, earth, spice, and a floating sugary sweetness. Spice nestles into the finish with light coffee. Cashew butter and earth on the retrohale. Quite a pleasant start.
Plenty of smoke on the exhale, and it pours from the foot.
The wrapper develops a crack about an inch from the burn line. The culprits appear to be a piece of the wrapper that got compromised somewhere along the process from the roller’s table to me and a slightly tight pack. Going to bring the pace down a little to help relieve it, and, hopefully, we’ll burn right through. Stay tuned.

Crack or no, that’s a mighty fine burn. Apparently, I’m a cowboy…with a slight whistle.
Creamy milk chocolate makes an appearance as this Knuckle Sandwich starts to burn through the split. Let’s not celebrate quite yet. I hate to jinx it.
Burned through the initial crack and two other small cracks that developed separately. There was a major crack that developed moving into the final third, but it burned through that one as well. Aside from having to navigate those, it was a rather nice experience.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 7 mins.
RATING: 3 / 4 - I didn’t completely jinx it.
