Creamy milk chocolate leads the way for dark earth and cream. Spice gives a push during the exhale and sticks around to the next pull.

Chocolatey oak and earth drops through the nostrils. Along with spice, earth hangs on the finish.

Smooth draw with a thick, heavy, and chewy smoke output.

We lost Dolly Parton earlier this week. She always seemed like a genuine person who was one of those non-celebrity celebrities. If that makes sense. Definitely less of an ego than some much less talented non-celebrities I’ve met in my life. Anyway.

Ascend’s solid ash holds on well to a burn line that needs assistance with some patience and smoke rolls™. Left unattended, it veers quite a bit off course. Not a deal breaker, but it requires a steady break from my preferred relaxation. 

Things darken up quite a bit as I move past the half. Sweetness becomes non-existent, offering muted spice and dark earth more and more.

All in all, a nice addition to this line from Casa Carrillo.
